About the Event

As told in his book “The Glass Factory”, in 2006, Sgt. Braxton McCoy was severely wounded in Iraq and was told he may never walk again. After a decade of rehabilitation and over 2 dozen surgeries, he not only regained the majority of his strength, but he has climbed mountains and competed in endurance races. Braxton has overcome his struggles including addictions and completed his journey to mend his body & mind. Today Braxton speaks about what it takes to overcome the challenges that life inevitably sends our way. Those who hear his story are changed forever.
