LEARN THE ART OF SAYING “NO” SO YOU CAN BUILD A BUSINESS YOU LOVE, WITH GUEST RIDGE KRAUSS HOSTED BY MISSION43 AND THE VETERAN ENTREPRENEUR ALLIANCE

Join us for an evening of networking and knowledge sharing! Entrepreneur Forward is designed for military members, veterans, and their spouses who own their own, or are in the launch phase, of a new business or nonprofit. These sessions are specifically tailored to provide you with the knowledge and resources you need to successfully launch and grow in Idaho’s economy.

If you want to build a business you love, you need to learn how to say “no.” In this session of Entrepreneur Forward, Ridge Krauss, owner of Ridgeline Media Marketing and former videographer for Black Rifle Coffee, discusses his experience in running an agency, experiencing burnout from and limited growth from saying “yes” to everything (just to make money) and how he navigated the difficult conversations to build a better customer base. Here’s why you need to start saying “no:”

  • Lack of specialization: Saying “yes” to everything makes you a jack of all trades, master of none. Clients want experts, not generalists.
  • Burnout is real: Without scalable systems, you may be spreading yourself too thin - long hours, high stress, and less time for what truly matters.
  • Diluted brand identity: A lack of focus muddles your brand. Clients may be confused about what you offer and who you serve.
  • Reflect on your business: Are you taking on projects that align with your vision, or just chasing the next paycheck?

Join us on August 22nd and learn to master the art of saying “no” to build a stronger, more sustainable business.  Light appetizers and beverages provided!
