What is the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA)?
VEA is a nonprofit based in Meridian, Idaho that provides free business education, mentorship, events, and community for Idaho veterans, active military members, and military spouses who want to start or grow a business.
Who is eligible to join VEA?
Membership is open to U.S. military veterans, active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses who live in or do business in Idaho.
How much does it cost to join?
Membership is 100% free. VEA is funded by donations, sponsors, and corporate partners so that veteran entrepreneurs never pay to access our programs.
How do I become a member?
Apply through our online application - it takes a few minutes. Once approved, you'll be invited into our community channels and our AI-assisted onboarding process.
What programs and resources do members get?
Members get access to business education, 1-on-1 strategy sessions, mentorship, networking events (Vetworking, Operation BOOST, Veteran Summit, Pancake Breakfast, and more), our business directory, and our partner discount network.
Are events open to non-members?
Most VEA events are open to the public, including our anchor events. Check the events page for specifics on each event.
How can I support VEA if I'm not a veteran?
You can donate, become a corporate partner, mentor a veteran entrepreneur, volunteer at events, or offer a resource/discount to our members. See the Get Involved page for all options.
Where is VEA located?
Our headquarters is at 1120 S Rackham Way, 3rd Floor, Meridian, ID 83642. Visits are by appointment only. We serve veterans across the state of Idaho.

Is VEA the same as the Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce?
No. The Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA) is a separate, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Meridian, Idaho. VEA is not affiliated with the Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce in any way. VEA focuses specifically on helping Idaho veterans, active military, and military spouses start and grow businesses through free education, mentorship, events, and community.
