Every Independence Day, VEA fires up the griddles at Cecil D. Andrus Park, right in front of the Idaho State Capitol, to honor Idaho's veterans and kick off the 4th with the community. Free for veterans and active military. $5 for everyone else.

A Boise 4th of July Tradition
The VEA Pancake Breakfast is one of our most beloved community traditions. Every Independence Day, over a thousand Idahoans gather at Cecil D. Andrus Park, in the shadow of the State Capitol, for hot pancakes, good coffee, and a morning that puts our veterans front and center. Stay for the breakfast, walk the parade route, and spend the day celebrating the people who answered the call.
