Meet the VEA Team Driving Veteran Entrepreneurship Forward
VEA STAFF
The dedicated team that leads our programs, drives our mission, and supports veterans and military spouses on their entrepreneurial journey.

Isaac Belden
Executive Director
I'm a husband, a father, and a veteran. I am a business owner with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic. My military background has given me the ability to be decisive without being impulsive, confident without being arrogant, tactful without being timid. I have worn a lot of hats in my professional life. Taking on roles from sales management and team leadership to supply chain management, quality control, and everything in-between. Through all of my experiences, I believe I have learned what is truly important in life: putting others first, using your time wisely, being aware of your surroundings, helping those around you because they may one day be there for you too. Entrepreneurship is my passion which is why I also founded a nonprofit organization that has successfully supported veterans who seek a new mission through business ownership...I'm also an avid reader! Annnnd....the last one was a lie.

Adrian Moreno
Marketing Director
Adrian Moreno is a Navy veteran turned entrepreneur, storyteller, and builder of bold ideas. As the Marketing Director of the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance, Adrian leads with one mission: to reignite the entrepreneurial spirit that once built America—and to put that power back in the hands of veterans and military spouses. After serving as a Naval Aircrewman and overcoming his own rocky transition out of uniform, Adrian saw the gap between military potential and business opportunity. Rather than wait for someone else to fix it, he got to work. From launching creative campaigns to building marketing agencies, Adrian’s been boots-on-the-ground for startups, nonprofits, and veteran-led ventures across Idaho.

Kyle Powell
Engagement Director
Kyle Powell brings over eight years of military leadership, training, and construction experience to his role as Engagement Director for the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance. A former Army recruiter and Horizontal Construction Engineer, Kyle knows firsthand the grit it takes to build something that lasts—from runways and training ranges to strong communities. Throughout his Army career, Kyle led with purpose—whether he was managing multinational training events in South Korea, implementing new data systems in Germany, or driving community outreach in Wisconsin. Now, he’s turning that same focus toward supporting veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs across Idaho and beyond. At VEA, Kyle leads with connection. His goal is simple: help more veterans and spouses find their mission after service by building real relationships and opening real doors. When he’s not working behind the scenes to elevate the VEA network, he’s likely lifting up someone in it.

Molly Krogh
Director of Marketing
Viiision
I’m the Director of Marketing at Viiision, and I love what I do. One of my proudest accomplishments over the past five years has been building two brands from scratch, taking them from idea to launch to over $1M in annual revenue. With a background in startups and small business growth, I specialize in brand development, business strategy, and marketing execution. I help companies discover their unique value proposition, and then craft marketing strategies that make their audience feel that value. Beyond strategy, I roll up my sleeves and create. I offer videography and photography services for small businesses that deserve great content, even without big-agency budgets. My heart is in helping brands not only grow but grow with purpose. I’m a mom to two amazing boys, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and someone deeply driven by purpose. Outside of work, I’m passionate about creating change, standing up for what’s right, and using whatever I have, skills, voice, or grit, to leave things better than I found them.

Martin Vejar
Transition Specialist
Hire Heroes USA
My name is Martin Vejar. I am a first-generation American raised in El Paso, Texas, and now proud to call Boise home. Inspired by my family’s journey and driven by a commitment to service, I joined the military, which sparked a lasting passion for veteran advocacy. Today, as a Transition Specialist at Hire Heroes USA, I provide tailored support to veterans and spouses pursuing education, careers, or entrepreneurship. That same commitment led me to support the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance. I believe in the VEA because it equips veterans with the tools and connections they need to turn their military experience into successful business ownership. I have seen how entrepreneurship can restore purpose, confidence, and independence for those leaving the uniform behind. As a Recon Team member, I am proud to help veterans navigate that transition with the support of a strong, mission-driven community. I have also worked with Mission43, where I earned a PMP certification and built valuable relationships that continue to shape my journey. My purpose is to create lasting connections and help others find theirs. If you’re a veteran or spouse on your own path, I would love to hear your story.

Brittany Hansen
Chief Discovery Officer
Viiision
Meet Brittany Hansen-Recon Team Member at VEA. Brittany's an open book so you can always ask her anything, but here's some factoids to get you started. She comes from a military family with a deep love for the Air Force. It was Brittany’s grandparents who taught her the best way to serve them is by giving back to the community they love so much. After meeting Isaac several years ago, Brittany was determined to contribute to the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA) and support its mission in any capacity she could. With a creative mindset, Brittany is driven by a strong commitment to bringing equity to information, especially in the field of technology. At every VEA event, you'll find Brittany—heels on, energy high, and ready to engage. A true entrepreneur at heart, she speaks your language and understands the drive it takes to succeed. Brittany balances the roles of co-founder, C-suite executive, wife, and mother of four. In her downtime, she stays active with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, plays the harp, and cherishes time with her family.

Charley Barlow
Creative Solution Architect
Viiision
Meet Charley – Creative Solution Architect & VEA Recon Team Member Charley is the kind of problem-solver who sees possibilities where others see roadblocks. She is a natural-born problem solver with a passion for people and a mind wired for tech. She blends empathy and innovation to craft solutions that actually move the needle, for businesses and individuals alike. Her journey into the VEA began humbly—flipping flapjacks at the annual pancake feed. But after witnessing Isaac’s deep passion for giving back to veterans, she knew she had to get involved on a deeper level. Now a full-fledged Recon Team member, Charley is all in on the mission to serve, support, and empower the veteran community. Outside the professional grind, Charley wears many hats: mom of four (plus two Frenchies who show up to the office like they’re on payroll), tech enthusiast, and, when the sun sets, a Call of Duty champion who’s been known to teach the boys a lesson or two. Yes, she’s won first-person shooter tournaments, and still dominates. Proceed accordingly.
